The Southwest Conference is a geographic region of play within the entirety of the Southwest Region. It contains the Developmental division within the Southwest Region which is meant for second and third teams of schools.
In the 2016 College Season, this conference contained 22 teams with the following breakdown: 5 Men's D-I, 10 Men's Developmental and 7 Women's Developmental.
